L.A.R.G.O. (Lawful And Responsible Gun Owners) is a pro law enforcement, pro citizen educational network that seeks to inform the public and the legislators as to what sort of individuals own the vast majority of firearms in this country. For the past few decades much of the media has generally equated firearms with crime and violence. The vast majority of citizens who own firearms are good, decent people from all walks of life. Doctors, teachers, mothers, police officers, and virtually every other respectable profession consists of many law-abiding individuals who own firearms. These people should be able to be proud to admit they accept the responsibility to take part in one of the most important parts of our American heritage. Our logo, as seen on our home page gives a socially acceptable means of bringing public recognition to the fact that lawful and responsible gun owners are, indeed, "good people doing good things".
